Over sixty years ago, Gaetano Quarta had the desire to open his own business and bring his life project to fruition. This is how Quarta Caffè was born in the 1950s, starting as a small roasting workshop in a bar in the historic center of Lecce.
From the very beginning, Quarta Caffè was known for its excellent quality and quickly became famous in its home region, Salento.
Since its creation, the Quarta company has remained family-owned through four generations and is now run by Antonio Quarta and his sons, Edoardo and Gaetano Quarta. All family members share the same passion for coffee, which helped the founder from the outset to make his roasting one of the best in Italy.
