The chronology at a glance :
The chronology at a glance :
Founded in 1890 (now in its fourth generation)
Until 1987, the company was located in the historic centre of Merano.
Since 1987, it has been located in the company's new building in the Luis-Zuegg-Straße 40 industrial estate in Merano (approx. 2,000 m²).
In 1996, things were tightened up again - a neighbouring hall was purchased, where production was now housed (approx. 4,000 m² of total floor space).
In 2000, work began on the new plant in the municipality of Parcines.
From March to November 2001, the company's new building was constructed (9,000 m² of land, the administration building, with 4,000 m² for production and an additional hall of 800 m²).
In addition, a fully-fledged subsidiary was opened in Munich: Schreyögg Deutschland GmbH, which handles distribution in Germany.
A number of retail shops are also part of the Munich distribution company.
Since 1890, the philosophy of the Alps Coffee roasting company has been to give priority to coffee quality. With his name, Peter Schreyögg guarantees only top-quality coffees. All the green coffees used are carefully selected and the different varieties of beans are combined in perfect harmony in a blend of beans, also known as ‘Blend’.
The best coffee for automatic machines:
The best coffee for automatic machines:
If you're looking for the perfect blend for an automatic machine, you absolutely must try Schümli - Café Creme. Its main feature is its mild, delicate and aromatic taste. You'll notice that it has a lighter roast than traditional blends, but the crema is uniformly dense and light, making Schümli well-suited to making a long coffee. For a traditional espresso or cappuccino, we recommend Exquisit, the roasting company's flagship coffee. A very elegant blend that impresses with its balance and refinement.
In conclusion:Peter Schreyögg and his son Stefan, who run the Merano roasting plant in the fourth generation with the utmost care, represent espresso quality you can always count on.
