The masterpiece of Caffè Toraldo
Only carefully selected Arabica and Robusta beans are used in this range. These are first roasted slowly and gently by variety, at temperatures of between 200 and 220 degrees, then blended to create a blend.
As usual for Caffè Toraldo and other Neapolitan roasters, this blend is roasted strongly and darkly. The long roasting time makes the beans slightly oily and gives them a silky sheen. The small partei of 5% Robusta completes the blend, giving the coffee a full body and an attractive hazelnut colour.
Despite its high Arabica content, this coffee is not particularly acidic.
