Alunni Caffè - Ricetta Luigina
1000g whole beans
This excellent espresso was dedicated to Alessia Alunni's mother, Luigina.
Ricetta Luigina is an espresso blend of eight varieties, all sourced from small, select coffee plantations. These originate from Brazil, Kenya, Nepal, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Santo Domingo. The espresso is complemented by Robusta beans from India (India Kaapi Royale) and Cuba. Kaapi Royale is cultivated in the mountains of Baba Budan in the Karnataka region of western India. The high altitude and nutrient-rich soil produce exceptional Robusta beans, resulting in a superb crema and a rich, deep brown color in the cup. The roastery sources its green coffee beans directly from the plantations.
A true Italian bar espresso. Here, the discerning espresso drinker might find their new favorite coffee.
The full-bodied Luigina forms a perfect alliance with milk. Despite its distinctive flavor profile, it gently caresses the palate. Full-bodied and with an indescribably long and intense finish, aromas of roasted nuts, toast, and baked goods unfold involuntarily on the tongue. These dark notes are complemented by fresh, bright nuances of stone fruit and blossoms. This Alunni blend is as good as... acid-free through the elaborate long-term roasting process.
The "Best Tasting Espresso" award at the International Espresso Championships speaks for itself. This high acclaim is based on the olfactory evaluations of the judges from the IIAC (International Institute of Coffee Tasters), which has more than 12,000 experts in over 40 countries.
Many renowned judges taste countless coffees in stages and ultimately choose only one as the winner.
