Valentino Caffè Excelso
1000g whole espresso beans
Blend ratio: 90% Arabica beans | 10% Robusta beans
The Valentino Caffè coffee roastery was founded in Lecce in 1953. The company is still family-owned. To this day, they remain true to the traditional principles of coffee roasting – the beans are roasted separately, gently, and slowly in a rotating drum and then cooled in the open air.
You can find this espresso in many small cafes and espresso bars in the Apulia region - especially in the metropolis of Lecce.
The Excelso blend from Valentino Caffè offers a powerful start and reveals itself in the cup with a wonderfully fine crema of chestnut brown color.
The 90% highest-quality Arabica beans from Central and South America, combined with 10% finest Robusta beans, create a unique richness of aroma. Floral nuances of jasmine and hibiscus mingle with fig, currant, and date.
On the palate, an irresistible, delicate sweetness unfolds with nuances of dark chocolate, honey, and cocoa. A soft sensation on the tongue and a long-lasting finish complete this taste experience.
Experience true southern Italian coffee enjoyment with your very first sip. Full-bodied, intense, and subtly sweet, Excelso is best characterized by its rich flavor.
This espresso coffee is especially recommended for portafilter machines. z.B...as espresso, espresso macchiato, or other milk-based drinks. But the Valentino Excelso will also delight you in a fully automatic coffee machine. The beans are dark roasted, but not oily, and can therefore be used in fully automatic machines.
With its outstanding taste, top quality, and unparalleled variety, Valentino Caffè has even won over the European Parliament in Luxembourg and is now its main coffee supplier. So what are you waiting for? Simply order and experience this low-acid coffee for yourself.
