Naples is the flagship of southern Italian espresso blends and the birthplace of many master roasters.
With the Passalacqua Cremador and the Toraldo Bluette, we present two true Neapolitan coffees, roasted entirely according to southern Italian tradition. Dark roasted for a nutty brown color in the cup and an incredible crema – that's Espresso Napoletano.
Blend ratio: 70% Arabica | 30% Robusta
This espresso lives up to its name. Thanks to its high Robusta content, the Cremador boasts a fantastic crema – irresistibly thick and hazelnut brown. Truly a Neapolitan espresso.
The dark, southern Italian roast results in low acidity and caffeine content, but all the more flavor and body. Therefore, Cremador is ideal as a base for cappuccino or latte macchiato. It has just the right strength for these purposes.
Blend ratio: 60% Arabica | 40% Robusta
Arabica beans from Central America and Africa, paired with exquisite Robusta beans from Indonesia, create a truly exceptional coffee experience. Toraldo Bluette is also traditionally roasted in the Neapolitan style, giving it its dark color with a subtle sheen. This coffee is highly popular in upscale restaurants and cafes.
The 40% Robusta beans give the Bluette a strong opening that is nevertheless exceptionally flavorful and smooth on the palate. In particular, chocolatey aromas with hints of sweet fruit come to the fore.
