This Borbone blend is a true champion in terms of value for money with a classic arabica-robusta ratio.
Like all Borbone coffees, this blend is roasted in Naples, but a bit contrary to the Neapolitan tradition. Indeed, this blend is medium-bodied and slightly lighter than the typical Neapolitan dark roast. The Crema Superiore remains true to its name, however - its crema is incomparably dense and lingers for a long time on the aromatic espresso.
On the palate, this blend has aromas of almond, walnut and caramel that give the impression of being in a coffee shop straight from Italy. Thanks to its Robusta content, the Crema Superiore has a nice texture and full body.
We recommend Crema Superiore for use in automatic machines or espresso machines (with filter holder). However, after proper grinding, it can be ideally used with a plunger or moka coffee maker ("Italian coffee maker").
