The Florio Espresso Pads use the same bean blend as the 1kg bag. That means 100% finest Arabica beans from Central Asia. &South America and Africa are hand-picked, thoroughly washed, and then roasted separately in France. Only then are the individual bean varieties combined to create the "Florio blend." While this means more work for the roasters, it pays off noticeably in the final result. Although all varieties belong to the Arabica genus, each bean has its own specific requirements regarding roasting time and temperature. Even the slightest deviations can affect the overall result. To avoid this and guarantee consistently high quality for their customers, Cafés Richard uses this specific roasting technique for their Florio.
