"Aci" tin of filled biscuits - Tumminello
Metal tin containing 250g of mixed biscuits - individually wrapped.
Discover Tumminello's colourful collector tins, filled with 250 grams of delicious biscuits. Each tin is named after a character from fascinating Greek mythology. Aci, a young shepherd son of Faun who fell madly in love with the nymph Galatea, is one of them. Unfortunately, their love story ended in tragedy due to the jealousy of the Cyclops Polyphemus, who was also in love with the nymph. These events inspired the famous legend of Aci and Galatea.
The tin contains :
Cosi Chini: filled with dried figs and Sicilian almonds: A crisp shortcrust pastry contains a generous filling of dried figs, chopped and toasted Sicilian almonds, apricot jam, sultanas, chocolate chips, honey and coffee. It's not for nothing that the name 'Cosi Chini' means 'full things' in Sicilian dialect.
Zuccotti: typically Sicilian biscuits made with crispy shortbread dough containing a soft, savoury centre of chopped Avola almonds, cinnamon and pumpkin. The whole thing is rounded off with a delicious jam made from a special Sicilian courgette.
An original and colourful gift idea for any occasion!
