Alunni Caffè - Espresso Tradition
1000g whole beans
The Alunni Tradizione is a tribute to the roastery's 60-year-long coffee tradition.
It's probably common knowledge by now that a high Robusta bean content is not a disadvantage. On the contrary, because if the roaster, as in this case, knows the plantations of his coffees personally and meticulously selects the green coffees, a truly special blend can result.
The small but select portion of high-quality Arabica beans comes from Brazil, Kenya, Cuba, Nepal, Peru, and Puerto Rico. However, the Robusta beans from India lend strength, expression, and body. These dominate the flavor and aroma profile, yet are elegantly complemented. The vibrant Arabica beans, in particular, add bright, subtle sparks, bringing the deep, dark aromas of the Robusta beans to life. On the palate, caramel, malt, and chocolate. On the tip of the tongue, citrus fruits.
Acid has no chance here. Traditional long-term roasting in a drum roaster minimizes these to a virtually imperceptible level.
Alunni Tradizione is far more than just a good pick-me-up: its medium roast brings out a pleasant spiciness and delicate notes of toasted bread and dark chocolate in the aromatic beans. With its impressive crema, this coffee is particularly well-suited for espresso and café crème.
The flavor profile vividly illustrates the strengths of Alunni Tradizione:
- Very long-lasting aroma
- Very good body
- Intense olfactory perception
- Aroma profile: cedar, chocolate, caramel and a hint of lime
- Low acidity
